Inspite of the unsettled weather and at sometimes extremely windy conditions tuesday, both the walleye’s and northern pike on Madison were eagerly snapping at crankbaits passing by. I did well pulling Shad Raps and WallyDivers over 22′-26′ at 1.5-1.8 mph. Instead of those cookie cutter 10″ walleyes I actually caught a 17″, 22″, and 23″ and additionally reeled in three northerns 26″, 27″, 31″. I hope this only continues to pick up in the near future… Anyone else having success in the area?
