Muskies anyone?

    I was wandering if anyone had a chance to get out this weekend. Because it was a fantastic weekend to be out fishing. I was out sat. and we boated two fish, one 38′ and a 36″ We also seen alot of other fish that came right to the boat.

    Yes, French lake. I was up there again on thursday 6/19/03 and boated another nice fish, this one also went 38″. We also caught one northern about 27″. The water up there is starting to turn green. I bet it will be pea soup in another week or so. The musky I caught thursday I got in a figure eight so make sure you do this after EVERY CAST! I was using a gray bucktail.

    I was on French this week and didn’t seem to be much going on. There was lots of cut up weeds floating all over the lake. It made trolling tough. Some of the weedlines just got cut down. Lot’s of troller’s looking for suspenders over deeper 30’+ of water, but no takers. TGIF

    I would try over the top of weeds in 8′ to 12′ of water.
