Oh how I forgot what it was like to drag a house out in 13-14 inches of fresh snow!!

I went out for a couple hours today and checked several lakes for blazed roads and had no luck!!

Cody lake has lots of open water so be carefull!

Roberds has alot of thin ice signs by the north side

Hunt just had nets in for minnows so I would stay away for a while.

Shields, kelly, dudley, union all looked pretty good but no one was out there and even though I did not see thin ice signs keep your eyes open if your out blazing trails.

I ended up fishing Masazka as it was only about 100 yard pull out. I caught about 20-25 gills today. They prefered the custom jigs and spins diamond jigs #12 in blood red and a small glow green demon spoon.

Today minnows did nothing for me it took the above noted baits with a white wedgie tail to get them really hoping or a tail and 1/2 a waxie. All the gills were 8 inches or less. Typically I would have kept moving around but not today!

I figured there would be alot of water on the ice once I drilled holes but it was very little. Thanks Mike

Hi Nick, I do but more in the winter than summer. I do a ton of camping in the summer months. So my fishing is hit and miss during the summer. If you would like to hit the ice sometime let me know. Thanks Mike
