Haven’t been out there, but you should expect to catch bluegills, pike, and some crappies. Reeds along the south side would be a secret area for me if I were a bass fisherman that had minnows/bobbers in the boat. Bluegills should be in that area as well, thus the bass. Crawlers, waxworms, minnows on jigs or under slip bobbers do the trick. Lindy rigs sometimes with a floating jig-head gets some nice ‘gills when tipped with the head half of a ‘crawler. I’ve caught many pike up to 5 lbs in the bay by the access trolling shad raps/huskys heading to the south end bay. Crappies can be anywhere out there. Generally small schools suspended. Sometimes on the weed edge though too. Casting and counting down Northland gypsy jigs tipped with a crappie minnow is my best crappie producer out there. If your close to shallow water though you’ll get bombarded by small perch. Good Luck. TGIF
