Got out to do some fishing again. This time the wife came with so I actually got to bring the camera We were fishing depths of 22-29 feet using teardrops with waxies and minnows. No preference to either one the bite was very slow. The size also diminished from my last report, but still nice to get out and catch some fish. Marking lots of fish, just unwilling to cooperate, constantly changed jig color and bait combinations but nothing seemed to help speed things up. Managed 10 crappies and a couple gills. Nothing to speak of for size and all were released. Ice was 8-12″ depending on location.

Thanks for the report and pics. Sounds like you guys had fun. And a wife who likes to fish is certainly a ”keeper.”

    Thanks, Bill
