    Anyboby on here from that area? I would like some info. on lakes in that area. I was born and raised there. Was there this weekend for my Aunts 95th birthday. Left the area in 1966. Then it was a bullhead lakes.Stopped and talked to a couple guys fishing, and they told me they were catchng walleys. Got to be all stock. Thats great.Any body from that area, I would like to correspont with you.Iwas very impressed with what has been done for pheasants and ducks in that area.

    I used to have lots of family there. I havent fished the area in years though always heard my uncles talk about the pit by the old sled shop about the big northerns. My grandmas house was 2 blocks from the old B&B out by the skating rink.

    Hey Art! Do you know the Duerksens from Windom? One of my best buddies was Sam (Melvin’s kid). Anyhow, he took me to a few of the stock-ponds in the area fishing for perch and walleye….WOW, there’s some nice fish in that area! Just driving by them a guy would never think there’s much more than a bunch of stunted sunnies, and like you say, bullheads, but we caught some beauties. We also shot a lot of pheasants in the area. Lots of outdoor opportunities in the Windom area, surprisingly. Take Care!
