As of Saturday Evening, both Shields and Mazaska are ready for a boat to get into them. Shields public access looks good with the exception of one side were the cement blocks have come up unto shore. Basically this means that instead of two ramps to drop, now you only have one. But you can still get a boat in there. Also as of Saturday evening the Mazaska public access just off Hwy 21 had some ice chunks next to it. The wind was blowing the ice right into the access. I did not check out the other public access. Good Lucks boys and girls…the panfish bite should continue to increase as the weather warms up.
