Fishing club was on Mazaska this last weekend. for the three days looks like sat was the day to be there. as the cold front blew on in sun. mostly limits of crappies on sat, and a few northern, nothing big but descent. on sun one guy only caught a few crappies but one he said was 14 inches. monday afternoon and early evening was when I went with a friend. after the cold front had strong NW winds and made the fishing very tough. still had a limit and a half for the two of us. descent size crappies 9 1/2 inch avg. a couple of sunnies were 8″ plus. we were east of the houses on the north end in 25′. the sat boys stayed in the SE bay and think they said 20-25′. last night there were 3-6 fish on the flasher at all times but were just toooo negative and neutral. most used waxes and larva and tried some minnows. will definitely go back with the boat late apr and early may. looks like a good spring panfish lake. Jack.
