A solid report just came in to me about fishing below the dam at Morristown… for Walleyes. These fish are good eaters size… 1 1/2 to 3 lbs… and you’ll catch plenty. Not much competition out there either…. it is a day-time bite or evening…. either way. Jigs of 1/16 or 1/8 with white or yellow Mr. Twister Tails are working well. Swim them across the current and thru the breaks…. You can use minnow type cranks too such as Salmo shallow-diving Minnows (Northerns also in here…. may make you use a ultra-lite leader).
Moristown is between Fairbault and Waterville on Hwy # 60 west of Faribault, Mn (on I – 35 south of MPLS)
