German Lake ‘eye’s

I have been fishing German on and off for the past week and if the wind blows, the walleye’s will take shad colored Rattl Traps or Shad Raps along the disintergrating weed edges in 3-8 feet of water. I have caught numerous 14-17″ fish and a couple just over 23″. Of the course the real action is those snot-rocket pike. They are super agressive and very numerous. I have averged 7 pike each outing so far. I sure hope the weather continues to be reasonable as I am planning on going to Lake City tomorrow to chase smallies…

Thanks for the report. I have a friend at work who was thinking og taking his two boys over that way for a couple days sometime next week as of no school due to MEA or something.
