The holiday weekend provided some outlandish bass action. In a two hour time span I caught and released 36 fish 14″-21″. One of the best days I have had on Madison ever… The weedlines are starting to develop and the low water level will probably result in a salad, but the bass population looks pretty good after a few of my personally worst years on the lake. Oh, yeah keep an eye on the depth finder. I watched a few boats cut a little too close to either side of the narrows and take more than paint off !
