I was wondering, has any one been on Tetonka lately, and if so is there any truth to what I heard about the slab crappies in 28′ of water?

AND where would be the best place to go in this lake to try this theory out??

Hey Hawger, you got any Ideas???

    John.

Yea….I heard lots of reports that it was a going deal. but if it involves me… it’ll have to mean moving to softer water…. I am off the ice now for the duration!

I am a “keep dry” kind of guy… and will be walking the shorelines casting real soon. And I started getting the boat ready today!

Reports were true thru about the 2/26, I was out last night we got three nice fish. We were on the ice from 6 P.M. until midnight. We worked really hard for the fish we got. Didn’t catch one in the portable. We drilled a “milk-run” of about fourty holes then went for hole to hole with the vexilar. A method that has payed off in the past. I think it’s fair to say the bite is over for now.
