Been doing fairly well on the area lakes casting stickbaits and pitching jigs on the edge or into the weeds. Pitching jigs will produce more action, but fish have been smaller and you have to weed through junk fish(sheepies), and smaller bass and northerns. Casting the cranks has brought the bigger fish, but more time in between bites. Might only have 3-4 bites a night. But they are usually pretty good solid mid 20″ range fish.
