Hi everyone.
I was out yesterday chasing walleye in the weeds and I pulled up quite a few crappies off crawlers. By the looks of where most of the boats were positioned, the crappies are in shallow spawning. In addition I caught a half dozen enourmous sunfish (8-10″ range). One of wich was shooting eggs as I was taking her off the hook. So I’m guessing the sunfish are on deck for spawning.
As for the walleye, they were pretty tough until sundown and then I pulled up 4 or 5 within 15 minutes or so. One 19, one 17 and then the rest were 13’s. We actually left with the fish still biting (work the next day 
)
