    I was hopping someone could tell me if they have campgrounds on clearlake and what the fishing is like? Iam a walleye fisherman but when kids are with any thing will do. thanks in advance

    There is a campground on the SE side of the lake, but is very busy, a well kept area. The lake is full of small crappie right now that will hit any small jig/twister/tube from 8 to 15′ of water. Not much for size. The lake has good sunfish for those who can find them, many nice bass, (all catch and release) and a fair walleye population,but little structure. A great lake to catch fish, but you will need to sort panfish, but what’s more fun with kids than lots of fish and action? Good luck. 2 acesses on lake as well as some shore fishing spots and a fishing pier.
