A place to stay and dock at Mille Lacs

    Does anyone know a good place to stay and dock a boat for a weekend at Mille Lacs? Some place that is reasonably priced. Any suggestions for fishing would be great as well. It’s my first trip the “THE Lake”.

    Try Covebayguys place. Looks nice. He made an Cabin offer for IDA members…check under the Mille Lacs forum. As far as fishing location. I’d fish bouncers w/spinners on 5 mile gravel or rock piles in 10-12′ in wind or at dusk. Leeches and bobbers on the rocks….crawlers on the gravel or redtails if your a minnow fisherman. Good luck…bring the bug spray!

    I talked to him a bit but it booked for the weekend I needed it. I’ll be checking back with him for future dates though. We got in at Scenic Bay. It sounds like the bite is tough.
