Supposed to have family up this weekend. Went to pre-fish french where family cabin is yesterday and holy moses the landing is rough. I had to thunderslide 4 times to get my boat off into the tiny hole that my boat could actually float. Getting out was worse. Then I was greeted with about 1.5 fow for the next 70-80 yards with my electric motor about a foot under the surface to get to floatable water. Worried about less experienced family damaging their boat, motor, and even being able to fish. I know you Faribault area boys are tight lipped, and rightfully so, the lakes are smaller and resources a bit more fragile. Looking for any other options for fishable landings- we are ditching the musky dream, and looking for a decent eye situation through whichever manner you feel appropriate. pm is perfectly fine.
