    The DNR permits for this series were approved. This is a good way to test your skills without risking a whole lotta dough.

    NEWT,
    IF YOUR INTERESTED IN FISHIN’ ANY OF THE TOURNEYS BY MANKATO, AND ANDY IS AT FOOTBALL CAMP, I CAN COVER THE BACK OF THE BOAT. HOWEVER, I HAVE NOT FISHED THESE LAKES FOR BASS YET.

    Maybe you can drag Jim over and fish these tournaments? We could do a little pre-fish on Saturdays

    Having a little trouble finding the initial post… Looking for more information regarding these Kato area events. Thanks for all the assistance.

    That’s weird. Try this -> http://www.midwestsportsmanminnesota.com/

    Unfortunately I won’t be fishing this circuit this year but I am interested in hitting the Kato area for bass. I haven’t fished over there since my college days (about 18 years ago). Which lake would be my best bet for bass: Washington, Madison, or Jefferson?

    Thanks, I found the info and the website. Looks like I may have to give it try as the Sunday dates would work well for me. As far as which lake for bass, I would certainly say from my humble experiences that Washington is probably the best bet, although Jeff has a growing population…

    Washington is a great lake, Jefferson is one of my favorite and has some real pigs in it, and lastly I would not consider madison a real good lake for numbers
