Snow and Ice conditions?

Are you getting all of this snow up north? How are the ice conditions on Mille Lacs? I am thinking about heading up midweek next week. Any good perch action on the East side of the lake? I am very familiar with the Hunters Point area so that is where I will probably try first. Any tips over the weekend would be appreciated. I can not post from the computer at my parent’s home, so thanks in advance.

Total snow fall around the eastside has been about 2+ inches maybe more….wet stuff just like in MPLS. There is a perch contest tommorrow out of Hunters Point. The electrical union has a contest and I should have some reports to share after Saturday. I am busy in the AM, but do plan to get out in the afternoon.
