Got a buddy that will be fishing Mille Lacs this weekend. He is wondering if he can get TV reception (CBS and FOX)using just rabbit ears on Mille Lacs? I’m assuming he will have a digital converter box. Thanks.

I believe he is going out on the south east side. Macs I think.

we get very poor reception on the North side, I would say your best recption would be on the south or east sides.

Wont he need a digital converter? Or is that only in the Cities? Isn’t all TV signal digital now?

I believe he would need the digital converter box anywhere since the entire US was switched to digital signals. He said he has an older TV and generator. He is wondering if he should try to borrow a digital converter but if he still won’t be able to get a signal, then he won’t bother.

I have a small portable TV, the rabbit ears suck. Two weekends ago I went to FF and bought a $20.00 flat digital antenna. It worked great I was in the Bemidgi/Walker area and picked up all three major networks plus Fox during the blizzard…
