I am looking at heading up for an evening or two next week with a friend, and am wondering if the warm weather we had last week is going to hurt the fishing? I haven’t done this myself before, and we are probably planning to troll stickbaits along the shore weedlines, bars & breaks mostly on the NW side. Anyone have an idea if that is worth trying, or if the fish aren’t going to be shallow enough yet? Or if there is a Plan B we should think about?

You should be OK on the NW side around Garrison. Weeds should start to lay down a little so you can troll over and the out side edge. I would hope with the full moon comming next weekend fishing will be GOOD. I’ll be out there myself. Have to see what the winds are going to do and from what diection to start a plan.

Your plan A is a good one but you might want to have a plan B,C,D,E…. Lots of options and also variables that you can’t control. Good luck!
