Ice Shack Towns – Question for you…

    Heys guys, Do any of you have some pics on these “towns” of the lake? I’ve never really seen what they look like up on Mille Lacs. Heard it’s a pretty cool sight.

    If someone has some they can post I’d appreciate it, but don’t go to any trouble.

    Well this one that I will post is of our very own Leader of the Pro-Staff on IDA. He is pulling a double!

    The photo has some houses in the back ground……..Mille Lacs normally has around 3500-5000 houses on it each winter. 5th.Ave. is just behind Chris over his left shoulder!

    I found this little snap shot on the Internet. You have got to see some of the little red and green islands of lights on opening day.

    Four years ago when I moved here, a friend took me up to Mille Lacs. I couldn’t believe the cities of ice shanties. It would awesome to take a helicopter ride over the lake in the winter.
