    What did you pick up?

    Blue and Gold Senkos? Nice.

Try the first submerged stump off of secondary points.

Just needed tubes and tube jigs. Pretty much set to go.

Submerged stump on Mille Lacs ??? That would be a new one for me!

It is in Cove Bay – Secondary Point.

You may need to use your Bird to find it.

It was tough to keep those savages off while fishing the norh end rocks this weekend.

Great post – everyone avoid the barren southern rocks/gravel this weekend and head north for your smallies.

Hope the off-bed bite is on this weekend. I think I see more guys throwing bobbers and leeches over beds every spring.

My brother in law and I are heading up there on Tuesday. Staying local for largemouth during the weekend but we’ll try and get whatever you guys leave behind come Tuesday.

I haven’t fished smallies since I was a teenager so I’m pretty excited to give it a go! I’m expecting to see some nice pics from the weekend. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

I have been checking my “Milk Run” of spots every couple of days and not much going on until yesterday! The water cleared up, the lake layed down. Clear skies made site fishing possible and the bite was on!

Fishing solo so the pics are not the greatest. Biggest of the day was a 19, most running 16-18. All caught on tube baits with 1/8 oz jigs. Absolute, shallow water blast!
