    Bob,

It’s starting to pile up around here too. Seems like we are getting a couple inches every other day or so. We really need it. The lakes and rivers were pretty low this fall.

    Bobber,

How low was the water level last fall compared to earlier in the year? If I remember right, things looked a little better by the end of the season compared to the last couple seasons.
This snow will definately help things out!!
How much snow do you have on the ground right now up there?

I just read in the Mille lacs digest it was down 18 inches before ice up.

Last few trips out…..I could not get my boat off the lift. I would quess that is was down 8-14 inches from what I would call normal.

And yes! that is why I posted the snow report……..we all need a good snow melt to keep the water flowing in our rivers and to maintain our lake levels.

This snow might also be saving some businesses that deal in snowmoblies…….many have had 3-4 years in a row of very little snow = now sales.

WE STILL HAVE THE MONTH OF MARCH YET!
