Picked a couple of them up a few weeks ago, curious to see how they work.

As soon as I bought 1 I filled up a glass of water and tried it. They are slick.

Similar to lighted J-plugs… Light blinks only when the metal screw “eyes” of the plug are under water…

    Very cool!

Better than what they had. “What will they think of next?” hopefully one that doesn’t run out or has a long lasting battery that can be replaced.

I have a couple of them. I wanted to try them out before I bought a bunch for my walleye rods. I added an extra split shot and they’ve been working great for crappie fishing. Boy are they bright!

This is a product made by Lindy fishing tackle who owns thill. The bobber is the best Thill bobber they have the pro series, so it is a top quality product.

I believe Fleet Farm has them…. I actually picked up 2 at a seminar last fall up at the Pond. Pretty cool Actually, a buddy of mine was testing them for Lindy and he had a couple with over 70 hours straight run time. I can’t wait to splash one….come on May 15th

might need two, one to fish with, the other for the mixed drink, light goes off, it’s time for a refill

I just got two for that reason but might need a couple more as just in case!

how did everyones bobber work? Mine worked pretty good, no battery to mess with, only thing is I used it two hours before it was dark enough, so I think mine will only last a couple years. Oh well!

    I was extremely dissapointed.

We had tried 3 in our boat this past Saturday night. All were brand new out of the box. One worked as advertised. The other one never turned on when in the water and the last one came on but would not turn off 100% when taken out of the water.

I also thought they were way too big and I had to add too many weights to my line to allow for less resistance when walleye fishing. I only saw “one size selection” at all the stores I visited this Spring. I certainly hope they come out with a smaller verion. Personally, I will probably go back to the previous model I was using.

We liked them and they worked well for us. However, I agree with Rob – They are too big.

I couldn’t have been more disappointed… The lights on ours worked fine, but we had the bottom break off on two bobbers and given even a small amount of slack line they seemed to spin in the water more then a normal bobber causing the line to wrap.

I was disappointed in them only having the one size and having to add too much weight. Also, it worked as advertised, however; the light is much dimmer then the smaller thill bobbers.
