I am heading down to the pond this weekend and was wondering how much snow is down there, curious if they got any of this storm that we got up here the past 3 days. Wondering if I should bring the snowmobile with me or leave it at home. I am planning on heading out to the flats. Thanks for the heads up. 
We only got about 1-2 inches of snow the past two days but had heavy winds (still do). Truck travel, if 4×4, should be fine. You will encounter some drifting that might be a foot or so deep but you should be fine if you don’t stop in a drift. A lot of the ice/snow surface is blown free of the latest snow. North-south roads on the lake are fine but the east-west roads are drifted in and are gradually being opened up today.
