I just wanted to put an update on ice conditions and a fishing report from this week. Our guide team has been out checking ice and looking for some active walleyes. The good news is that the fishing is really good and we are finding decent ice. As always, use caution out on the lake. We have spent more time drilling, checking ice depths,than fishing thus far, but have found active fish along the east side rock structures as well as the mud flats. The fish that are showing up have been more receptive to aggressive jigging. Tony spent today with a writer from the Star-Tribune,look for the report in this weekends outdoor section.
