Well like said in the other post, ‘finally’ the mille lacs trolling bite has taken off. After a slow start to the fall my dad and I did not have high expectations for the evening. We started the evening pulling H12s about 1.5 mph over rock area that has ben holding smaller fish all year. It did not take long to get the first decent sized eye in the boat. Best colors for the night… Anything that did not have stripes on it. Could not buy bite if it had any sort of stripes on it what so ever. Could’ve benn a confidence thing, but after snaggin this guy in the last pic, it makes sense. We got fish between 24 and 28.5 and a bonus 37″ pike. Water temps were in the low 40s. Better take advantage of the bite before the ice takes over! I know I will be!

Very nice – I may try to get up tom. night but the weekday trips make the next day a rough one at the shop.
