Road to the flats!!!

    Hunters Point Resort on the eastside of Mille Lacs has a marked road out the Boot flat. The road is well marked and the ice conditions are good once you get out past the rough ice 2 1/2 miles off shore. The ice depth is around 18-20 inches in most areas that I have checked.

    Thanks for the update….

    I’ve been driving more comfortably to other spots on the lake as well. I’ve measured 15″-19″ of ice from spot to spot. Even with the ice getting thick you still need to use caution around the pressure ridges. The warmer weather today moved things around a little. Good luck on the water.
