    Ok I am going through withdrawls. I am unable to head to the Pond this weekend as the wife is dragging me to Gold Rush Days. I will be back up next weekend with my son and am already excited about corking the rocks and watching him reel in some eyes. Don’t know where we will be staying yet.I will wait and check reports form around the lake this weekend.Hoping to stay on the south side somewhere. Good luck to evryone going up this weekend.I will think about you as I am walking around wishing I was there. At least there is cold beer where I am at.

    Feeling the same – my trip was cut short due to issues at home so I only got one day up there this week. Trying to make schedules work for a mid-week trip next week.

    Am having a fish fry this weekend so that will be a close second to being there

    they weren’t good – they were excellent! and we are having the leftovers tomorrow while we are out trolling on Mille Lacs!!!

    Maybe we will luck into a couple of eaters!

    I hear ya…. I get to stay home this weekend… Maybe I will “sneak” up though Have to make sure the cabin isn’t flooded… It’s 3′ off the ground

    WISCONSIN BOW HUNTING IS FAST APPROACHING.I AM TRYING TO GET A TRIP UP BEFOR THAT.I HOPE FIND A PLACE TO STAY NEAR HUNTERS POINT.HAD GOOD FISHING NEAR THERE LAST TIME.ANYONE PLANNING ON BEING UP NEXT WEEKEND STAYING NEAR THERE? WE SHOULD HOOK UP FOR SOME AFTER FISHING BREWS.

    If I was gonna be there… we sure could. I am doing some last minute shopping next saturday at Cabelas, for my Elk Trip to Montana, the following thursday Sunday, I am going to the IDO Hunting GTG in Rosemount Our place is across the hwy from Hunters Point

    Were heading up after work I have a brush pile that needs to be burned ASAP..with all the rain we have had, this weekend it HAS to be done…
