Summer Ice Shack Rentals on the Southeast Side

    Coming up with a crew of three on August 7-9th.I know Barnacles on the north has Ice Shack rentals in the summer just wondering if anyone knows of a resort that rents them on the sotheast side. Would be much quicker than setting up the tent and cots. Any information would be appreciated.

    Todd, I would call around on the SE end. I know alot of resorts do not advertise this really, as there was a big stink about this last year,(showers, bathrooms, fire dept accessabilty) so they don’t really publicize it if they have them….

    Thanks for the heads up I will call around and see what I can come up with.Would like to stay down south to fish the shallow rocks for some smallies and eyes.

    Does the State Park have camper cabins?

    Kathio has camper cabins. None at Father Hennepin.

    I think you will be plesantly surprised what you can rent a cabin for. Make an offer if nothing else. It breaks my heart to see how slow things are, business wise, this year.
    As a kid cleaning fish we had a saying about Iowans; They come to ML w/ a new pair of bibbers and a $20 and don’t change EITHER. (Sorry Chomps & W.K…I couldn’t resist. )
