I won the auction for the Guide trip with Scott, so I twisted my brothers arm to join me on yesterdays outing. (yeah… like I really HAD to twist his arm)

Had a GREAT time once again! The bite wasn’t fast, but there were big fish in the area that were willing to cooperate. Heres a pic of the biggest ‘eye from yesterday. This girl was pushing 30″!

Thanks again to Scott & John for everything. We had a blast (again).

I have several pictures from the weekend including a few more of this monster. I will be putting up a report later this afternoon. We had two walleye over 29 inches this weekend and one over 28. Add in a 37 inch pike and several others in the 8-10 pound class and it was a good weekend on the pond.

I tell you what Scott… no more of me being a “nice guy” when a flag pops, and letting big bro have the honors. It’s gonna be a footrace to it next time.

After the rain and warm weather of the past week, a nice pair of ice skates might be the ticket! Awesome fish guys and thanks for the info!

Good idea, skates would probably get you to the flag faster.

I didn’t tell you guys but I can tell how a twelve pound walleye pulls line off the tip-up. When I see that happen, you should see how fast I can run

Oh yeah, and Scott… I can tell where you caught that one too!

Do you EVER leave our little bay?… lol Not that I should be giving you a hard time since I spend about 75% of my time in there too! What a pig pen…. [sigh]

Technically I would consider us outside the “pig pen” , but I guess I don’t know the areas you concentrate on.

    Nice fish guys

Yeah… you’re right. Open water you’d not be likely to find me out in that particular area but I’m sure the fish move all over heck in that area throughout the seasons. Typically I’m on fish in 8′ – 10′ of water but that’s during open water.

You guys have really put on quite a show up there with the big girls this winter. It’s been a long time since I tussled with a 8+ lb walleye on a short rod and I hope to change that when I get up there middle of January. Save JUST ONE for me!
