    Do you think the dip in temperature will impact the bite? I predict the bite will be strong but I am just basing that at years past, the water temp. and the date the ice went off.

    Tonight: A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 38. North northwest wind between 8 and 10 mph. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

    Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52. North northwest wind around 10 mph.

    Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Northwest wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.

    Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. North northwest wind between 5 and 7 mph.

    Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36.

    Looks like everyone should stay off Mille Lacs this weekend. The weather looks terrible. And if you don’t have a 24′ Sportcraft or larger the DNR will not be allowing you out from any public access.
