    About two weeks to opener and hardly anyone posting?

    Not even the usual suspects getting all riled up over the natives?

    Isn’t anyone fishing Mille Lacs on the opener?

    im hoping the sand goes this year as well as the biguns on the mud late… it was deffinatley an odd year for tourneys for ML lastyear

    i had a pretty good year last year on the pond. caught limits everytime we went out except 1 time. even ice fishing. hottest bite we had was the first week of june lindy riggin with leeches in 22 to 25 fow on the graveyard. will most likely be up that same week. good luck to all who fish mille lacs on opener as i will be fishing somewhere around the cities

    With Koldfront giving away every peice of his boat so far this year i think i will have to take my boat up on opener. i am looking forward to heading up. never fished the lake for opener.

    I’ll be there, not until Saturday evening, however. I’ll stay unti Tuesday. I sure hope somebody posts a good report or two before 5:00 pm on Sat. That way I’ll know which direction to head. Truth be told, as long as the dock and lift get in this weekend, I’ll most likely be on the SE side of the lake.

    Yummy !!! Iv’e been smellin’ it for a couple weeks Last weekend at the lot, we got the lawn swept, aerated & sprayed !!! Now we need a little grease on it

    No opener for me this year. If all goes well, I’ll still be fishing down in Red Wing. If it doesn’t go so well, I’ll be at a wedding Saturday. (There should be laws against stuff like that)

    Memorial weekend will be my first time on Mille Lacs this year and the following weekend for MTT.

    Had a change of plans and we will now be fishing opener on the east side gravel. Hopefully catch a limit fairly quickly, have a fish fry, grab a nap than off to North Dakota paddle fishing for a couple days.. Weather forcast is looking good and water should be warmer. The walleyes should be in the normal opener spots, unlike last year where we had to spend 4 hours searching to find fish..

    Although I have only taken part in the festivities one year and never been invited back , I think I would have dominated this year.

    Maybe I can just check in every 15 minutes for beer counts.
