Last night about 11 pm there was 2 boats with lights on out on the lake right across from where county road 2 goes to pine center. i have no idea what they were doing. there has been quite a bit of open water there but it suprised me big time to see them. i dont know how they got out there or what not but it was boats for sure

I just drove past mille lacs on wednesday night and the ice looked to be in grand shape. I’m not sure where you’d put a boat right now.

i found where they went in at. i drove down there and the ice is out about 10 yards off shore off a small dirt access that really is not much of a access more or less just a place that you can get on the lake. and it follows the shoreline all the way down to where that bridge is where 169 meets county road 2. they were definatly boats but there was no any ets ut there either. i am not sure why they would be out there. but make no mistake the were out there. thinking back maybe i should have called the dnr or something
