Went out of the casino access on saturday and fished two miles out .Caught 21 eye’s, two went 27+. Watch out for the ice heave about 1 mile out and rough ice after that. 7 ice of ice. Two groups went by us,we think they went to 7 and 9 miles.

What motive would he have to not be honest with us?

There’s lot of shallow water and structure within two miles of the launch. You’re assuming he went straight east and there’s all kinds of possibilities.

Lots and lots of good fishing within two miles of that access. Now I just wish I could get up there to try it out while it’s still early.

RR, you give me 5 eye’s and I’ll offer a 10-20% return on eye’s over the next 10 years. The first Ponzi Scheme of IDO. Walleyes are fat and heath, it was the best fishing a had on Mille Lacs in two years. Any ice info on the east or south side

The finger is NE. But point taken. There’s lots of structure possibilities within two miles of the launch.

I was obviously joking about going out in that area. I really don’t feel safe going out from the public landings with the possibility of a crack opening up. Been there done that before. There is always a nasty one out from the casino access every year. I am thinking about possibly heading north out of the Red Door within the next week or so. Waiting for the temps to get back to the normal range.

as far as being 2 miles out, my first thought was shermans flat.

lots of rocks and wood, more structure than one can possibly cover in one afternoon.
