Okay, while I’m technically a Mille Lacs “veteran” (funny that while i’m 30 I still think i’m a kid) I’ve never once trolled on Mille Lacs (other than lindy rigs/spinners, etc.).
Big boat’s done for the year, so i’ll have our 16′ rebel, Skineboy as my fishing partner, and a bunch of old stuff from my dad’s tackle box (Rapalas, etc.), and our GPS/Sonar unit.
For 100% beginners is it my best bet to troll the edge of the rocks and weed lines? I’ve got no clue as to which baits to use, how far back to troll, etc. but hey … you won’t know ’til you try!
Any suggestions for REAL trolling beginners?
