We didnt do as well as some others to the north of us on the west side but did manage a few.
What I want to report on is the boat that came within 15′ of our stern and never once saw us.They did not power off until they were closer to Rocky Reef which was to far away to hear me yell “What the #@$$”. We thought about chasing them down to the landing near by, but whats the point of having two boats flying thru the dark. I think to many people do nothing but concentrate on there GPS like it has radar hooked up. Two people in the boat and not a clue. Yes they were close enough on a cloud covered night to make out how many were on board.

Yes we did have our Nav lights on, but it happened so fast I did not have time to hit them with the spotlight. I normally do not have my overhead ropelight on unless its needed until now. From this point on life jackets and extra lights will be on.
