Heading up to the big pond this afternoon. The forecast shows changing wind directions for the next few days – W today, E tomorrow and SE tomorrow night.
I know that wind plays a big part in bobber fishing during the day – how important is it for night trolling? It is obviously much easier to troll out of the wind – but are they more active in it? Would prefer to spend some time in the same areas so I’m not learning a different area each night.
Also wondering where to start tonight. I know the north/west sides the best, but wondering if I should fish the east since the wind will be blowing into it all day? With that said, the wind is supposed to be very calm by the time we get up there. Thoughts?
Thanks!
