Just got back from Mille Lacs. Did not do to good for Walleyes but I did catch my personal best 25 incher! We had a blast. We caught a good number of jumbo perch on the westside of the lake. I was suprised talking with people at the public launch that were disgusted that we were catching and keeping perch. One guy asked how we did and when we told him only 1 walleye and about 20 perch he said, “that sucks” and another lady said “yuk who wants those”. I am from Indiana and I love the taste of perch. Does anyone else? By the way the walleye I caught was in the weeds about 13′ on a slip bobber and nightcrawler.
