Finally a great day after the big wind this weekend.
The family is up for the week and we are balancing all water activities including a few short bass trips between skiing, tubing, swiming…
My son, Jack (8), and I put 6 in the boat after a couple hours work in the shallow rocks.
Zoom Super Flukes did the trick. We’ve been experimenting with adding lead to the lure to help with sinking, it seems the weight doesn’t hinder the catch and makes the fishing more efficient not waiting for the lure to hit the bottom.
We had a few hits on topwater, but didn’t work it very hard as the other was catching them on the Flukes.
Jack got 3 and I got 3 today. Here he is holding the two 19″ fish we got today.
