10-16-03 Trip

    My brother wanted to take one more trip up to the pond last week… so I played guide for the night. No big fish made it to the boat (other than another muskie). Good numbers of 20-25″ fish kept us busy pretty much non-stop.
    Pictured below is my nephew with his first Mille Lacs fall walleye. On our third pass, he nailed this 25 1/2″ on a rogue. This kid is a fishing machine… he’s nailed a 20″ smallie this year, several nice sized pike, and now some walleyes.

    And heres the muskie. You can see the “hump” in the middle of her… but other than that deformity, she was healthy as can be. All the blood you see came from yours truly… ouch.
