    OK guys , lets try a schedule like this. Breakfast at Hunters Point next week on Thursday , Friday and Saturday around 9. I know there are a few of us up there all week that might be able to do the weekdays and others that will be up for the weekend only. Whoever is able to make it on any of the days will find friends from the site.
    I am looking forward to some extended time off to spend fishing and hope to see you at Hunters.

    Anyone grabbing a bite to eat before hitting the water? Just my two cents….but might be done fishing by 6:00 AM and heading in for some shut-eye and cannot make the 9:00 breakfast. Also, anyone feel like picking a marine band channel to hang out on?

    yes………even WAY up here on Mille Lacs we do have radio’s that have some reception!!!!

    Even cable tv!!!!!

    I’ll be up around 5ish on Friday. I’ll be putting in right away. The weather is going to dictate where we fish. We have 3 boats in our crew, so hopefully we can find some fish amongst us. I don’t have a marine band in the boat yet, but would gladly share my cell with anyone who wants. See ya on Saturday morning for sure.

    It’s going to be a long week…….

    I’m thinking if I fish until 3-4 AM, i’m really not going to want to get up at 9ish to go to breakfast. Would you guy’s maybe rather meet for breakfast around 2:00PM?
    And maybe just make it a lunch?

    My dad and I will be up to Scenic Bay resort Friday afternoon. Where is Hunters Point from there? I would like to stop by and meet you fellas. First time for the fall bite and I can’t wait! See ya there. JD

    I think the guys are at breakfast right now so I’ll try and help you what little I can. I don’t know where Scenic Bay is but Hunter’s is on the east side of the lake along Hwy. 47, approx. 7-8 miles north of Isle. That’s a LOOSE mileage guess so it could be shorter or longer but I know it’s over 5mi. and quite certain it’s less than 10. There’s a sign indicating the place on both sides of the road so look for “Hunter’s Point” and that’ll be the place. I think there’ll be guys meeting there throughout the full moon phases.

    Talk about no sleep, up at 2:30, 4:30; finally up at 5:15 for good. Had a couple comments about the boat at the gas station this morning, goin’ fishing? I should have told them I was fishing all night, man were they biten’.
