We are still waiting for the wind to let up a little here on the eastside of Mille Lacs. It has been very windy the past 3-4 days now. I was hoping to fish this morning but this wind won’t let up. Today was the annual crossing here on Mille Lacs. The lake had many brave souls wind surfing across the main lake!! Check out this photo I took this afternoon.

My father finally took some time off to go fishing this week and between the wind & rain he barely got to fish, even on the smaller lakes. 
Several of those guys were rescued by fishermen when the Big Lake took a bite out of their Butts!! 
There were at least 30 of them going out of the Malmo Access. Crazy!

Those folks are braver……..crazier………..whatever, than I care to be anymore!
