    The way its looking 4/28 might be pretty close Unless the weather takes a big turn soon it looks like a later ice out this year.

    I would like to call the offical ice out 2008 as of today 5-3-08……but as always we will wait and see what is printed in the Mille Lacs Messenger this week!!!! That will make it offical!

    There was a HUGE slab of ice out front of breakers yesterday (Sunday) atleats a mile long and wide.
    Today will be the day.

    Guys….you have to remember that the way the Messenger decides its offical ice out is if you can run a boat from Isle Bay to Garrison Bay with out running into any ice!!! Is the offical call!!!
