You’ve just gotta love it when people that obviously know what they’re doing (have wheeler, trailer, portables, equipment, etc.) but yet still have ZERO class or respect for others on the ice.
We set our house up in a spot in a bay with nobody save for 1 house anywhere within 1/2 mile of us. This crew of 4 shows up – when we’re fishing in our house, mind you – and proceeds to ask us how we’re doing. Not a bite in the house in 2 days – honestly dead sea. They drop their trailer 10-15 feet from our permanent house and set up their portables TOPS 30 feet away from our house and start drilling. They even drove on our personal road – paid for in our fee through the resort, mind you – and drove next to and over our generator extension cords.
I couldn’t believe it. If it wasn’t so stupidly funny I’d have been furious. It’s a huge frickin’ lake and they just right on top of us with no care or concern. It’s just unreal sometimes how people act. This type of stuff that sours me to going out sometimes. The only solice I could take is I KNEW they weren’t going to catch anything. And sure enough after 45 minutes or so they were up and gone.
Buy yourself a clue people. Get creative and find your own spots to fish. And guess what? If you really want to catch fish, don’t set up on top of somebody’s generator … you might have a little more luck. 
I just hope these people aren’t members here – that would sully my opinion of the site.
