Going up this weekend and am new to ice fishing the lake. I do not have a ATV or Sled. So I will be walking on. How far do I need to walk to get to decent fishing grounds? I’m assuming the roads the resort plows will be easy to walk on and I won’t have to deal with snow until I get off the main path. Is this correct, or does any one have any suggestions on where I should go if I’m walking on? I don’t feel like having a heart attach pulling the shack for an 1/2 hour through 6 inches of snow…Thanks
