We just had another bug hatch here at Mille Lacs. With the light wind tonite, the flies are hanging just above the water and near the tree tops.
This is very late for a bug hatch……….they say a “heathy lake has many bug hatch’s” ??????
Good thing they don’t bite!
Is the hatch as bad as the may flies usually are?

Yeah,
Last saturday night when I was out fishing we were getting hit by bugs blown by the wind. They would hit you in the face just hard enough to splatter.
