I didn’t think you were fishing the north end Tuck. I never heard you on the radio all night long.
We fished the red door area pretty agressively the early part of both nights. The early bite was by far our most consistent. Our big fish for two nights was 28.5″, first fish Friday night. Good Start!! Each night, around 1AM we hit a lull and shortly after that, we would start to move around.
We fished a couple historically good spots Friday night, with only small fish to show for our efforts. Saturday night we fished a new spot by Wealthwood that immediately kicked out 4 fish in 20 mins, but then died as quickly as it started. Finished our night there on Saturday around 5:30AM. She was a frosty, slippery ramp by that time of morning.
I hope to make a trip or two during the week before ice up.
