We are going to be on mille Lacs for a week starting the 22nd.Looking for any tips on lures or patterns for skis or pike anywhere close to the Red Door.Does afternoon trolling work at all.We are fishing the night with guides but are bringing my Lund up to fish any time we are awake enough to get back on the water.

Don’t get too hung up on cranks, as spinnerbaits and “other” baits being trolled can score big just as well!
The pike and skis wouldn’t let us be all afternoon and nigth on the northend this last week.Some were true monsters.All got on #12 F.T. huskies jerks 
Thanks guys.I have some huge inline spinners.Several big spinnerbaits.A couple of the #13 jointed X raps some of the older rapalas that are about 11″ long and some jointed bucktail jigs that I make myself any other good ideas for must have.Oh ya I have tons of Doctors and Redeyes and A box full Of #11 x raps and #12 rapalas husky jerks.How fast do you normally troll them?1 week till we are there.
